On 10/15, the Douglas County Sheriff's Department brought their Polar Patrol Truck as well as their sound truck to Eastside to celebrate the accomplishments of our readers during the 1st 9 weeks of school. The kids had free ice cream & danced to the tunes from the sound truck. They had a blast! Eastside is grateful to our Sheriff's Department & its officers for both the the time they spent with us & for sharing their resources with our students!
