Our very own Dakota Sykes, fifth grader and news anchor at Eastside Elementary was the runner-up in the recent Young Georgia Authors Competition sponsored by the Douglas County School System. We are very proud of Dakota as she works hard here at school & is a model for her fellow classmates. She serves as news anchor for our WBNN News Crew & participates in multiple extra-curricular activities here at Eastside. Congratulations, Dakota! Keep up the great work!
