                                              WELCOME EASTSIDE FAMILIES!

Parents/guardians of Eastside students are strongly encouraged to stop in, visit and check-out some of the resources we have available for student use.  Our goal is to help parents & guardians understand what their children are learning so that they are better able to help at home with homework and projects. We know that parent involvement makes a big difference in the achievement and success of our students.  The Title I Parent Resource Center also has a lending library for parents, in which a variety of parenting topics are covered.  We offer information on various topics from parenting to discipline to how to help your child with homework. A community resource directory is also available for Douglas County.  Some of the resources that are housed in Eastside's Parent Resource Center include:

  • Phonics electronic
  • Test preparation resources
  • Geo Safari laptop electronic (for 3rd - 5th grade students)
  • Some resources are currently unavailable as we work to keep students safe in our current era of COVID.

Our Parent Resource Center is open on Mondays from 7:45 a.m.- 3:15 p.m. All other days are by request- please see Ms. Kayla Arnold or the office staff.  It is also open during evening workshop times. The PRC is located in room T-9, near the playground. Please call 770-651-3800 to make an appointment or email Ms. Arnold:  kayla.arnold@dcssga.org
